About the role#
This is a part-time student worker position designed to complement your academic experience by providing ongoing, hands-on work alongside your studies. You will join the software team directly to contribute to real projects in autonomous technology. This is a contract position with a pay rate of $30 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Analyze the coverage and exposure rate of interesting events in highway data.
- Write Databricks notebooks to mine scenarios, create datasets, and build dashboards.
- Conduct exposure analysis to identify performance issues and data gaps by analyzing large-scale vehicle logs and simulation data.
- Write data analytic reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. or M.S. program in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, PySpark, and Python in production environments using standard repository practices.
- Experience working with time-series or sensor data.
- Availability to commit to at least 20 hours per week for a minimum of six months.
- Familiarity with robotics or AV data is a plus.
- Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements regarding proprietary company information.
