About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Co-op position based in Pittsburgh. You will function as support personnel for the engineering department, taking on research and design work as assigned. The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, though you may lead specific project assignments as needed.
What you'll do#
- Perform research and design tasks.
- Support the engineering team on various projects.
- Lead project assignments when required.
- Handle additional duties as assigned by management.
What you'll need#
- An undergraduate or graduate degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read, interpret, and write reports on technical documents and research findings.
- Strong communication skills for speaking and presenting.
- Basic mathematical skills, including arithmetic and statistical principles, along with the ability to create and interpret graphs and tabular data.
- Problem-solving skills to analyze and weigh potential solutions.
