About the role#
This Manufacturing Engineering Co-op position is based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The role runs from January 2027 through August 2027. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Department and work with cross-functional teams on various projects. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Design parts, assemblies, and fixtures using 3D CAD software.
- Learn and apply Lean and 6Sigma techniques to improve quality, cost, and delivery.
- Analyze business and product concerns to determine logical actions.
- Present ideas in a clear and convincing manner.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Work independently or under direction to complete tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
- Completion of at least your first year of study with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well within cross-functional teams.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
