About the role#
This is a summer internship position based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. You will work with the Resuscitation R&D team to support the development of medical devices and software solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role running from May 2027 through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Complete design, build, and testing activities for new products.
- Execute modifications to existing product designs.
- Use SolidWorks to create new assemblies, models, and drawing packages from concept sketches.
- Conduct studies to confirm form, fit, and function of designs.
- Design and develop test fixtures.
- Execute product testing plans and analyze data to verify designs.
- Prototype usability concepts for evaluation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program.
- At least two years of study in a Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering program.
- Excellent academic standing.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience with SolidWorks, 3D printing, or test equipment is a plus.
- Certified SolidWorks Associate status is preferred.
