About the role#
Young Life Military offers a long-term internship for those wanting to serve and grow in their Christian walk. You will work alongside an experienced staff member at a U.S. military installation in Georgia. This role focuses on relational ministry where you will model your faith while helping teens build friendships and community. You will assist in leading the Club Beyond program, which is an outreach-oriented ministry for middle and high school students.
What you'll do#
- Meet weekly with your supervisor to track progress and discuss ministry goals.
- Help lead Club Beyond clubs and small group sessions.
- Develop a 90-day personal growth plan to foster your spiritual life.
- Attend Chapel on the installation and participate in volunteer leader meetings.
- Meet weekly with a volunteer to support their involvement.
- Learn to recruit and train new leaders to build a diverse leadership team.
- Assist with community outreach and provide discipleship to teens.
- Lead and equip volunteers for youth ministry activities.
- Communicate monthly updates to your personal donor partners.
- Discuss financial support raising with your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- High school graduation at least 2 years prior to the start date.
- A deep love for Christ and for teens.
- Strong initiative and an energetic personality.
- Ability to communicate clearly and a teachable heart.
- Experience or skills in small event planning.
- Commitment to a relational ministry approach.
- Willingness to raise part of your budget through personal support.

- The position is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship. You are responsible for raising a portion of your budget through personal support, ranging from $1,160 to $4,000 depending on the specific location and duration.
