About the role#
The Pinelake Summer Internship is an 11-week program starting in May 2027. It focuses on equipping the next generation of ministry leaders. You will work with staff to support NextGen ministries, which serve children from preschool through 12th grade. You may also explore other areas of ministry based on your personal interests. This role provides hands-on experience, leadership training, and spiritual development.
What you'll do#
- Support NextGen ministries for children and students.
- Help prepare and run summer camps, programs, and events across our campuses.
- Provide servant leadership in Kids and Student ministries.
- Take part in weekend services and specific ministry events.
- Attend all required orientation, training, and debriefing sessions.
- Follow church policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- You must have completed your freshman year of college.
- You are a growing disciple of Christ.
- You have the ability to invest spiritually in children and students.
- We welcome students from majors including Communications, Psychology, Sociology, History, and English.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
- Interns will be assigned to one of our campuses in Clinton, Madison, Brandon, Oxford, or Starkville, Mississippi.
- Housing may be provided through a host home if needed.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
