About the role#
As a Sales Intern at Wyffels Hybrids, you will spend the summer embedded within our sales regions in West-Central Illinois. You will work under the supervision of a Region Manager to provide sales support and technical service to our customers. This is a full-time position running from May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn about our product lineup and how to place products effectively.
- Refine your sales techniques and put marketing strategies into practice.
- Act as a resource for growers and seed representatives.
- Gain practical experience in account planning, time management, and problem-solving.
- Organize and participate in sales and marketing events.
- Complete an internship project and present your findings at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate Sophomore or Junior.
- A major in Agricultural Business, Agronomy, or a related field.
- Prior experience in agriculture, sales, or farming.
- Strong work ethic and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective presentation abilities and computer proficiency.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A commitment to customer service, integrity, and honesty.
- Geographical knowledge of the assigned territory and a willingness to live there.
