About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Gwinner, North Dakota, for the Summer 2027 season. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical skills in agronomy sales and operations. This role involves direct interaction with customers and hands-on field work.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field problem solving.
- Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to provide data to customers and the team.
- Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
- Write and present reports to supervisors and customers.
- Learn the features and benefits of agronomy products and services.
- Help with over-the-counter sales and product deliveries.
- Perform warehouse and plant operations, including inventory management and invoicing via the Agris software.
- Maintain equipment and facilities while following environmental and safety policies.
- Assist with custom application if you are qualified and perform other tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture-related degree program such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous experience or knowledge in Agriculture is preferred.
- Prior internship experience is preferred.
