About the role#
WSP is looking for a Process Engineering Intern to join our Industrial team for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site at our offices in Montréal or Sherbrooke. You will work alongside experienced professionals on industrial projects that have a direct impact on our clients and the environment.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the design and optimization of industrial processes within multidisciplinary teams.
- Run process simulations and analyze the results to recommend technical solutions.
- Prepare engineering deliverables including calculation notes, technical reports, equipment specifications, PFDs, and P&IDs.
- Assist with the preparation of quotes, tenders, and technical documents for clients.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to support the quality and success of project mandates.
- Engage in technical reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of industrial processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university program for Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Completion of at least two or three years of university studies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in both French and English.
- Initiative, autonomy, and professional rigor.
- Interest in industrial process design and optimization.
- Familiarity with software such as Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, AFT Fathom, or MetSim is an asset.
