About the role#
The Site Reliability Engineering team manages and monitors Kinaxis products and cloud infrastructure. You will help ensure service availability and performance for customers globally. The team develops automation for production operations using modern platform tools.
What you'll do#
- Deliver customer excellence by meeting all service level agreements.
- Deploy, upgrade, and support various applications, services, and operating systems.
- Troubleshoot system performance and application health issues.
- Take ownership of the incident resolution process.
- Work with infrastructure including VMWare, Kubernetes, and networking.
- Gain exposure to public cloud platforms like Azure and GCP.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary diploma or degree program in computer science or a related discipline.
- Proven troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of Windows or Linux environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident due to security requirements.
- Knowledge of remote system administration, system performance monitoring, and scripting languages like PowerShell or Ansible is an asset.
Location & details#
- Locations: Ottawa, Ontario (Hybrid) or remote for other Canadian locations.
- Modality: If based in Ottawa or Toronto, you must be in the office at least three days a week.
- Term: Full-time for 8 or 12 months, with start dates available immediately or in January 2027.
- Compensation: $27.04 to $39.66 per hour, depending on skills and education.
