About the role#
As an Intern in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, you will join the M&E Technology Team to support the design and delivery of building technology systems. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience with IT, security, and audio-visual solutions. This role is a full-time, paid position based in Edmonton.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and review of designs and drawings for building technology systems.
- Assist with field data collection, project coordination, and analysis.
- Prepare technical reports, design calculations, sketches, and drawings.
- Provide technical advice to clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards for quality and accuracy.
- Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build your professional skills through project work and mentorship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Electrical or Electronics Engineering program, or a Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM.
- Ability to identify technical challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Experience working within virtual and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Initiative, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
- A desire to work toward a P.Eng or equivalent designation.
- A Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a vehicle with insurance is preferred.

- Compensation: $24.80 - $32.65 per hour.
