Worthington Enterprises is seeking a Safety Engineer Intern to support the management of hazardous energy. This role provides exposure to safety protocols and manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with internal and external team members to complete critical project tasks and must be able to manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines.
What you'll do#
- Review hazardous energy sources.
- Document controls using internal software.
- Create training boards for energy sources.
- Assist with various project-based tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Preferred 1-3 years of college experience in Engineering, Safety, or Industrial Maintenance.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D modeling or drafting software.
- Professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a process-oriented mindset.
- Mechanical inclination and the ability to work as a self-starter.
