About the role#
Worthington Enterprises is looking for a student intern to join the Purchasing Department within the Cylinders business. You will assist with procurement tasks, work with vendors, and support plant personnel. This position offers experience in manufacturing procurement and is a rolling opportunity. You will work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year.
What you'll do#
- Place purchase orders.
- Keep delivery information accurate within our ERP system.
- Research discrepancies involving purchase orders or invoices.
- Coordinate with suppliers to expedite orders.
- Process vendor returns.
- Follow departmental procedures for orders.
- Generate reports and handle miscellaneous projects.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least 2 years of college.
- Pursuing a degree in Operations Management, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Management.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year.
- A reliable and responsible work ethic.
- Critical thinking skills to address daily issues.
- Ability to work in a busy environment.
