About the role#
Worthington Enterprises is hiring an IT Intern to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term. You will work on-site to gain practical experience in Information Technology while developing your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Set up and install computer equipment, including computers, monitors, and network hardware. This may involve moving equipment between buildings.
- Assist with managing our technology inventory.
- Help end users with technology requests and general troubleshooting.
- Support the team with technical documentation.
- Assist with developing code.
- Help with project management and general IT administration tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- At least one year of programming experience, which can include coursework.
- Basic knowledge of PCs and MS Windows.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with network equipment such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
