About the role#
The Resource Development Intern will join the Resource Development and Management team at VisionFund International. This role supports funding acquisition efforts for the microfinance arm of World Vision. You will assist in building a diversified funding portfolio by working with institutional grant teams and philanthropic partners. This internship is a three-month opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience in the international relief and development sector.
What you'll do#
- Research and map potential new institutional funders for VisionFund.
- Assist with the writing and proofreading of institutional grant funding proposals.
- Support reporting for the Finance Accelerating Savings Group Transformation (FAST) program.
- Create customized donor reports, including GIS mapping and impact stories.
- Coordinate with field teams and global staff to ensure accurate reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate within 2 years of an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Majors in International Relations, Economics, Communications, Marketing, Public Health, Finance, or English.
- Ability to commit to at least 20 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States with a valid Social Security Number.
- Adherence to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.

- This is a remote role for the Winter 2027 term.

- This is an unpaid internship.
