About the role#
The Business Systems Intern works with stakeholders and subject matter experts to solve business problems. You will map current processes, identify areas for improvement, and document requirements. This role involves designing technical solutions and assisting with change management efforts.
What you'll do#
- Interact with stakeholders to understand their business needs and challenges.
- Gather, document, and analyze requirements for new projects.
- Map current workflows and identify gaps or opportunities for improvement.
- Capture updates to assist with documentation and stakeholder communication.
- Design technical solutions to address specific business problems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including critical thinking and technical challenge resolution.
- Ability to document requirements for both technical and end-user audiences.
- Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence.
- Strong verbal communication and time management skills.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: This position is remote, with the option to work in a hybrid capacity if you are located near a company office hub.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship at $22.00 per hour.
- Requirements: Reliable internet access is required for remote work.
