About the role#
The Digital, Security & Innovation Internship is part of the Woodside USA Early Career Pathways initiative. This program builds a pipeline of future talent in technology, data, security, and innovation. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting the U.S. business through project-based work across several specialized teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the Digital, Global Security & Emergency Management, and Innovation teams.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to apply technology and data to real-world challenges.
- Gain exposure to software development, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
- Explore areas such as automation, cybersecurity, security analytics, and digital product development.
- Learn about emergency preparedness, business continuity, operational resilience, and risk analysis.
- Use data visualization and emerging technologies to improve decision-making, efficiency, and safety.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Rising junior or senior status with an expected graduation date between Spring 2028 and Spring 2029.
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university for the full duration of the 2027 internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30.
- Available for at least twelve consecutive weeks during Summer 2027.
- Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Ability to complete pre-employment screening.
- Agreement not to use AI or AI-assisted tools during the application or interview process.
