About the role#
The Geoscience Internship is a project-based program designed to provide graduate students with real-world experience. You will support our Exploration and Subsurface Units while working alongside experienced geoscientists and technical professionals. This role offers exposure to our operating environment, safety culture, and subsurface standards.
What you'll do#
- Conduct subsurface evaluations to support US and international exploration or production assets.
- Complete project-based work aligned with current business priorities.
- Develop your technical, analytical, professional, and leadership capabilities.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Graduate degree (MS or PhD) in Geology, Geophysics, or Physics from an accredited US college or university.
- You must remain enrolled in an accredited program for the full duration of the 2027 internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 is required.
- You are available for at least twelve consecutive weeks during Summer 2027.
- You are authorized to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship.
