About the role#
WoodmenLife is seeking a Customer Experience Intern for the summer of 2027. You will support initiatives to improve experiences for members, representatives, and associates. This role offers exposure to customer insights, journey mapping, process improvement, and project coordination. You will work across teams to identify service and efficiency opportunities while gaining hands-on experience in business transformation.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain customer and agent journey maps.
- Document current and future state business processes.
- Analyze customer feedback, survey results, and complaint trends.
- Support project management tasks like action logs, project plans, and meeting documentation.
- Research customer experience best practices and competitor insights.
- Assist with dashboards, scorecards, and executive reports.
- Use AI technologies to streamline workflows and promote ethical AI practices.
- Participate in internship cohort activities and leadership engagement.
- Prepare and deliver a capstone presentation.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Analytics, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
- Current standing as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to gather, interpret, and present data from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools for content creation and productivity.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including data privacy, security, and bias mitigation.
- Demonstrated leadership through school, work, or extracurricular activities.
