About the role#
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is hiring a Field Engineer Intern for our Tampa, Florida office. This is a full-time, paid position that offers a rolling term. You will work on-site to support our construction projects.
What you'll do#
Your primary responsibility is to assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager with the planning, organization, and completion of projects. You will help the team stay on track and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
- Review project plans and discuss details with management.
- Evaluate bids submitted by contractors.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to keep the job site clean and secure.
- Perform data entry tasks.
- Assist with daily project duties as needed.
