About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will spend 11 weeks gaining hands-on experience within our Legal and Human Resources departments. The program includes job training, a mentor program, and opportunities to participate in networking and community events.
What you'll do#
- Support HR operations by assisting with leaves, unemployment responses, and Placement Driver Investigations.
- Manage administrative tasks in Workday, including job postings and maintaining careers site content.
- Help with the recruitment process by screening resumes, conducting phone screens, and coordinating interviews.
- Review Non-Disclosure Agreements to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain contract systems by reviewing terms and expiration dates in iView and migrating commercial contracts to Salesforce.
- Monitor compliance tools, address data subject requests, and conduct legal research to assist with decision-making.
- Organize and categorize historical company documents and physical records.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- Experience with Google Workspace or previous administrative work is preferred.
Location & details#
This role is based at our corporate headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. Work modality includes on-site, remote, and hybrid options.
