About the role#
We are looking for an Information Security Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience working with professionals to protect our digital assets. You will receive job training and participate in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Process user access requests and perform periodic access reviews.
- Track compliance metrics across business systems.
- Work with IT and software development teams to integrate security into systems and processes.
- Explore new security technologies and expand your technical knowledge.
- Audit user entitlements and manage user lifecycle events like onboarding and off-boarding.
- Enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Assist with internal security audits, risk assessment reviews, and evidence collection for compliance frameworks.
- Support the maintenance of security policies, standards, and control frameworks.
- Conduct vendor risk assessments and evaluate third-party security postures.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based at our corporate headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.
- Work modality includes both on-site and remote opportunities.
