About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in talent acquisition and full-cycle recruiting. You will work with our team in the Fort Worth Brokerage Center to support hiring initiatives, manage candidate relationships, and contribute to the overall growth of our company. You will gain exposure to both high-volume and strategic recruiting projects.
What you'll do#
- Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, outreach, and career fairs.
- Screen resumes and handle initial candidate communication.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain candidate data in Greenhouse.
- Support recruiters with interview prep, follow-ups, and feedback collection.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for key roles.
- Participate in campus recruiting and community outreach events.
- Create and post job descriptions across various platforms.
- Assist with employer branding efforts like social media campaigns.
- Prepare for new hire onboarding, including offer letters and start date coordination.
- Track recruiting metrics and report on hiring progress.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- An interest in recruiting, sales, or talent acquisition.
- Confidence in communicating with candidates and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Experience with LinkedIn or other social platforms is a plus.
