About the role#
WEC Energy Group is hiring an intern for the Human Resources Labor Relations team. This position is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and runs during the Summer of 2027. You will work in a full-time capacity within a unionized environment to gain practical experience in Employee and Labor Relations.
What you'll do#
- Support staff on various projects.
- Develop technical expertise in Employee and Labor Relations.
- Assist with the documentation of grievances and disciplinary actions.
- Participate in meetings and investigations.
- Analyze data related to employee and labor relations.
- Identify ways to improve current processes.
- Help capture and organize institutional knowledge.
- Travel occasionally within Southeast Wisconsin.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program or higher in Industrial or Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a closely related field.
- Minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Valid drivers license.
