About the role#
WebFX is looking for an IT Support intern to join our team. This role is for current college students or recent graduates who want to start a career in IT support. You will work under the guidance of senior mentors to learn and practice technical skills in a real-world environment. We offer a flexible schedule and provide all necessary equipment at our office.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Run diagnostic programs to identify and resolve problems.
- Maintain the performance of computer systems.
- Install and configure new Windows and Mac workstations.
- Create new accounts for incoming team members.
- Support online software configuration and answer team member questions.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's Degree in progress or completed.
- A GPA of 3.4 or above.
- Customer service experience in any industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A solid understanding of Windows and Mac OS.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site internship based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
- The position is paid at $17 to $18 per hour.
- We offer a flexible schedule determined by a mutual fit between the intern and the team.
- This is a full-time internship with rolling start dates.
