About the role#
WebFX is hiring a web development intern to join our interactive team. This role is designed for current college students or recent graduates who want to build professional experience. You will work under the guidance of senior mentors in a hands-on environment. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based at our office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We offer a flexible schedule and provide all necessary equipment for your workspace.
What you'll do#
- Assist full-time web developers with client projects and assignments.
- Program, implement, test, and support web-based projects using the LAMP stack.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting across open-source platforms.
- Identify and resolve web browser issues.
- Explain technical ideas and design concepts to peers and management.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Graphic Design, Communications, or Media Studies.
- A GPA of 3.4 or above.
- Familiarity with PHP and MySQL.
- Knowledge of at least one open-source CMS platform.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to learn.
