About the role#
This internship works directly with the Office of the CFO to rethink how work gets done using AI, automation, and emerging agentic technologies. You will focus on understanding current workflows, challenging existing processes, and redesigning how the team operates. This is a hands-on role where you will identify real problems, prototype solutions, and build tools to improve the operating model.
What you'll do#
- Work with members of the Finance organization to understand recurring processes and workflows.
- Identify work that could be eliminated or simplified before introducing new technology.
- Build lightweight prototypes and proofs of concept based on your technical ability.
- Test prototypes and solutions against real-world scenarios.
- Measure whether changes reduce manual work, save time, or improve the process.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Comfort experimenting with AI tools and emerging technologies.
- Ability to work through ambiguous problems without step-by-step instructions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Bellevue, Washington (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Commitment: Approximately 15 to 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
