About the role#
C3 AI is looking for Data Science interns to join our team for the Summer 2027 program. You will work alongside data scientists, AI engineers, and subject matter experts to build enterprise applications on the C3 Agentic AI Platform. This role involves helping large organizations use AI to make informed decisions and drive their digital transformation.
What you'll do#
- Drive the adoption of AI and agentic AI systems into our next generation of products.
- Design and deploy machine learning algorithms for industrial use cases like predictive maintenance and fraud detection.
- Collaborate with data and subject matter experts to validate, interpret, and use new data elements.
- Identify appropriate machine learning algorithms to answer complex questions and implement them to run at scale.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with applied machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI.
- A strong mathematical background in linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
- Proficiency in prototyping languages such as Python and R.
- Experience with scalable ML, including distributed computing, cloud-native environments, and streaming.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with foundation models and their application to enterprise use cases.
- Preferred experience includes JavaScript, Java, time series analysis, and dynamical systems.
