About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. You will work alongside our procurement, logistics, production, and finance teams to gain a clear understanding of how supply chain decisions impact business success. This is a paid, full-time, rolling internship based on-site in Lexington, Kentucky.
What you'll do#
- Support cycle-counting activities and maintain accurate inventory tracking.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipts.
- Assist with daily supplier management, including release verification, delivery-compliance checks, and backlog monitoring.
- Partner with suppliers to monitor deliveries and resolve order discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate orders and support process improvements.
- Use SAP and Microsoft Office Suite to organize data and document results.
- Provide administrative support to the supply chain team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Supply Chain Management or Business Administration degree program, preferably as a Junior, Senior, or Master's student.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 15 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to our Lexington facility.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Experience with warehouse management software, shipping, receiving, or accounting procedures is preferred.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
