About the role#
Warner Bros. Discovery offers multiple internship opportunities within Sports Production and Design. These roles provide students with hands-on experience in the entertainment and media industry. Interns will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing office attendance with remote tasks, and will gain exposure to the production and post-production workflows of professional studio shows.
What you'll do#
- Observe, train, and participate in the production of live studio telecasts.
- Assist with the creation of highlight reels, player packages, and ticker content.
- Compile, edit, and log historical team and player footage for MLB, NHL, and U.S. Soccer across digital and social platforms.
- Manage the footage library by evaluating and logging video assets for Turner Sports properties.
- Gain practical experience in post-production fundamentals, including editing, sound design, and visual effects.
- Collaborate with departments such as production, social media, marketing, and talent services.
What you'll need#
- Must be a rising Junior or rising Senior undergraduate student, age 18 or older.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited degree program in Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Journalism, or Marketing.
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong knowledge of sports and experience working in television production.
- Proficiency in editing, with experience in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut preferred.
- Proactive, creative, enthusiastic, and adaptable personality.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without future visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Term: Fall 2026 (October 12th to December 18th).
- Commitment: 16 to 24 hours per week.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
