About the role#
Warner Bros. Discovery is offering Sports Production and Design internships for the Fall 2026 term. These positions provide hands-on experience within the sports media industry, allowing interns to contribute to studio shows and digital content. This is a paid, part-time internship requiring 16 to 24 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Observe and participate in the production and post-production of live studio telecasts.
- Assist with the creation of highlight reels, player packages, and ticker content.
- Compile, edit, and log historical footage for MLB, NHL, and U.S. Soccer for social and digital platforms.
- Manage the footage library by evaluating and logging video for Turner Sports properties.
- Develop skills in post-production fundamentals, including editing, sound design, and visual effects.
- Collaborate across departments such as production, social media, marketing, and talent services.
What you'll need#
- Must be a rising Junior or rising Senior undergraduate student (18 years or older).
- Active enrollment in an accredited degree program in Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Journalism, or Marketing.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong knowledge of sports and experience working in television production.
- Proficiency or experience with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut is preferred.
- Proactive, creative, and adaptable approach to work.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
