About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing management. You will work across various departments, completing projects while receiving leadership training and coaching. The role involves rotating through all operational areas to learn production processes and develop leadership skills. You will work closely with management to execute manufacturing strategies and ensure plant activities meet quality standards.
What you'll do#
- Participate in Kaizen events and implement lean manufacturing processes.
- Assist in leading daily plant activities to maintain product quality.
- Use data to prioritize actions and drive continuous improvement.
- Build relationships with internal customers and management teams.
- Communicate the company vision and strategy to motivate team members.
- Ensure adherence to site and plant safety standards.
- Drive customer satisfaction through clear communication and follow-up.
- Hold yourself and others accountable for meeting commitments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
- Preference for students completing their sophomore or junior year.
- A strong interest in working within a lean manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to rotate through different departments to learn production processes.
- Ability to follow the company Code of Conduct and attendance policies.
- Physical ability to walk through facilities, perform light lifting up to 25 pounds, and travel between sites if needed.
