About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing supervision. You will work alongside Department Managers to learn core supervisory skills. This includes training staff, conducting performance appraisals, and managing personnel processes. You will be responsible for overseeing production workflows and ensuring that all orders meet quality and schedule requirements.
What you'll do#
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure goals are met on time.
- Organize and assign daily work duties to employees.
- Evaluate employee performance and complete timely appraisals.
- Observe hiring, corrective actions, and annual evaluations.
- Inspect product quality at every workstation.
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Promote a safe work environment and practice good housekeeping in all areas.
What you'll need#
- You are currently entering your Junior or Senior year of college.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to analyze and improve processes.
- A self-motivated approach to your work.
- Ability to maintain a respectful attitude toward employees, vendors, and customers.
- Commitment to following the company Code of Conduct and Attendance Policy.

- Physical requirements include the ability to walk throughout facilities, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and navigate stairs or ladders as needed.
