About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to work on real projects within the Verizon Consumer Group Sales and Service Operations organization. You will gain exposure to our AI-first ecosystem while collaborating with mentors across business units. This is a full-time, 10-week summer program designed for students who attended the Thurgood Marshall College Fund Immersion Program in October 2026.
What you'll do#
- Work on impactful projects that the business depends on in real time.
- Drive the adoption of predictive support capabilities and AI technologies to resolve customer friction across channels.
- Lead technology research and benchmark industry best practices to modernize our omnichannel ecosystem.
- Evaluate sales and service channel performance, operational workflows, and technology integrations across physical and digital touchpoints.
What you'll need#
- Must have attended Verizon’s Basking Ridge, New Jersey Thurgood Marshall College Program Immersion Program in October 2026.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- In good academic standing.
- Ability to participate in a full-time, 10-week internship from June 2027 to August 2027.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or future sponsorship.
- Willingness and ability to travel and relocate.
- Experience with AI tools such as Gemini, Claude, and NotebookLM.
- Demonstrated project expertise in designing end-to-end customer or user journeys involving dynamic pricing, predictive value realization, or MarTech stacks.
- Agile, clear, and persuasive communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
- The position requires a minimum of three days per week in the office, as set by your manager.
- This is a paid internship at a rate of $25.00 per hour.
- You will be eligible for holiday pay and may participate in the 401(k) Savings Plan with a company match.
