About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will join our team for 10 to 12 weeks to work on a primary project. This might involve building a new internal tool, exploring applied research topics, or extending an existing product feature. You will participate in onboarding, weekly professional development sessions, and networking events.
What you'll do#
- Write clean, testable code in Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Identify, document, and fix bugs.
- Perform unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Create scripts to automate routine tasks.
- Write technical specifications and user guidance for developed features.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- A solid foundation in at least one object-oriented language such as Python, Java, or C++.
- A strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed computing.
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate complex ideas, and work collaboratively.
- Familiarity with machine learning, NLP algorithms, Spark, or Ray is helpful.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes, or frameworks like React and Node.js is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is based in San Jose, California.
- You will be required to work on-site 5 days a week.
