About the role#
The College to Corporate IT Internship is a full-time, paid summer program for students interested in application development. You will gain hands-on experience by working on software projects that support our clients and investors. Throughout the summer, you will receive mentorship and coaching from managers to help grow your technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Build solutions that help Vanguard perform and achieve client outcomes.
- Practice Agile and LEAN methodologies within a software development lifecycle.
- Share your insights while working both independently and in teams.
- Build a professional network with peers, senior leaders, program managers, and alumni.
- Meet regularly with your department and program managers for personalized feedback.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, or a related technical field.
- A strong interest in web, mobile, or application development.
- Effective analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills or aspirations.
- Experience with coding languages and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher are preferred.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- The program runs during the summer of 2027, with a start date in May or June.
- This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Vanguard does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
