About the role#
Vanguard is hiring for the Investment Management MBA Internship program for Summer 2027. This role offers the chance to work within our investment, corporate strategy, and investment strategy teams. You will work on a strategic assignment designed to help meet the financial needs of our clients.
What you'll do#
- Engage in a high-impact strategic assignment within a key business area.
- Identify critical insights to help drive our business forward.
- Receive coaching and mentorship from an MBA program manager and senior department management.
- Learn directly from investment professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program, with a graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate work experience, including relevant exposure to investment management.
- An undergraduate degree.
- A deep interest and understanding of financial markets.
- Strong analytical, relationship management, and leadership skills.
- Experience in investment research, portfolio management, trading, or investment strategy is preferred.
- Proficiency in R, Python, or SQL and progress toward a CFA designation are preferred but not required.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship based in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
- The work modality is hybrid, with in-office collaboration typically scheduled Tuesday through Thursday.
- The program start date is May or June 2027.
- Vanguard does not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
