About the role#
Vanguard is hiring for several early-career technology programs, including the Technology Leadership Program, IT College-to-Corporate Internship, IT Co-op Program, and the Application Engineer Technology Program. These roles offer opportunities to work on meaningful technology initiatives, gain hands-on experience in financial services, and collaborate with experienced engineers. Candidates will be considered for current and future openings across these programs.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop front-end and back-end technology solutions.
- Build and enhance continuous delivery pipelines.
- Develop scalable applications using modern engineering practices.
- Work with cloud technologies and modern development frameworks.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver client and business solutions.
- Support test-driven development practices.
- Contribute to real-world technology projects alongside Vanguard professionals.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical curiosity and initiative.
- Demonstrated leadership experience or potential.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher is preferred.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience for entry-level engineering roles.
- Interest in software engineering, cloud technologies, and application development.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

- Locations: Malvern, PA, Charlotte, NC, and Dallas, TX.
- Modality: Hybrid work model.
- Terms: Rolling opportunities for Winter, Summer, and Fall 2027.
