About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Tampa, Florida. The program lasts 10 weeks, running from June 7 through August 13, 2027. You will report to the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer and participate in educational, mentorship, and networking events across the firm.
What you'll do#
- Support efforts to improve the compliance program.
- Conduct risk assessments and testing.
- Collaborate with the team on specific compliance projects, such as those involving social media, gifts, entertainment, and political contributions.
- Monitor the Code of Ethics.
- Handle administrative tasks to keep the compliance team running smoothly.
What you'll need#
- You must be entering your junior year or beyond of a 4-year degree program, ideally in Finance or Business Administration.
- An interest in finance, laws, and regulations.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
- Working knowledge of the internet, MS Word, and Excel.
- A team-oriented, hard-working, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Previous experience in a corporate environment is helpful, but not required.
