About the role#
This summer internship with MarketVector, a subsidiary of VanEck, offers an opportunity to work within a global team at the intersection of finance, marketing, and technology. You will gain hands-on experience in how marketing and communications function within the financial services industry. The program provides exposure to senior management, mentorship, and networking events designed to build professional skills and understanding of the investment management sector.
What you'll do#
- Create, schedule, and publish marketing content across various media channels.
- Contribute to short-form video and podcast content for YouTube, LinkedIn, and the website.
- Support email and social media marketing campaigns while analyzing performance metrics.
- Research market trends and SEO keywords to develop content ideas.
- Collaborate with product, research, and business development teams on campaigns.
- Help build and document AI-assisted marketing workflows to make recurring processes repeatable.
- Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions to provide creative input.
What you'll need#
- Currently entering junior level or higher in a 4-year college program, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
- Strong interest in marketing, media, and visual design.
- Experience creating or editing content such as videos, presentations, newsletters, blogs, or podcasts.
- Proficiency in design and presentation tools including Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Flourish, and Canva.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, SEO, and social media platforms.
- Strong writing, communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Word and basic HTML.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or ElevenLabs is a plus.
- Proficiency in a second language, particularly German, Korean, Portuguese, or Chinese, is a plus.
