About the role#
This internship supports the EHS department at our Garden Grove facility. You will assist in identifying environmental regulations and risks within the metal finishing industry. You will work alongside the EHS Specialist, Operations, and Quality Assurance teams to help implement systems that ensure we meet internal and external compliance standards.
What you'll do#
- Identify environmental regulations and potential risks.
- Perform daily data entry and maintain department logs and files.
- Enter and update information in our automated systems.
- Provide administrative support to the EHS team.
- Keep your work area and office clean and organized.
- Follow all work instructions, manuals, and checklists.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate clearly with others.
- Ability to identify and fix conditions that impact employee safety.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work independently with accuracy.
Location & details#
- Location: Garden Grove, California.
- Modality: On-site in a manufacturing environment where temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Schedule: 1st shift.
- Term: 3 to 6 months.
- Majors: Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
- Employment Status: Paid, full-time internship.
