About the role#
This internship supports the Business Development, Sales, and Operations teams for the Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth. You will gain experience in sales operations, project organization, and partnership development while working on projects that contribute to our daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily operations and project organization for the Business Development team.
- Partner with Account Executives and Directors to identify, track, and advance high-value leads.
- Research and build lead lists for corporate partners, season ticket members, and group buyers.
- Develop new lead generation strategies.
- Assist with creative ideation and deck creation.
- Support marketing tasks, including driving interest in sales events and campaigns.
- Help with event planning, coordination, networking events, and golf tournaments.
- Provide clear reporting to the team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Hard-working, self-motivated approach to tasks.
- Assertive and creative communication skills.
- Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including extended days, holidays, and weekends.
- Willingness to use your own vehicle for transportation on event days.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening.
- Experience with Canva is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, part-time, paid internship based in Sandy, Utah.
- The role operates on a rolling basis.
