About the role#
The Geology Intern will support the rare earth exploration program at the Round Top deposit in Sierra Blanca, Texas. You will work alongside experienced geologists and technical professionals to gain hands-on experience in mineral exploration. This role is open to students enrolled in a geology or geoscience program who have an interest in the mining industry.
What you'll do#
- Support the rare earth exploration program at Round Top.
- Perform core logging and collect geological data.
- Conduct sample characterization.
- Contribute to active exploration projects.
- Assist with geological interpretation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited geology or geoscience program.
- A basic understanding of geological mapping and logging principles.
- The ability to commute to and work in a remote field environment.
