About the role#
We are looking for a Supply Chain Intern to support our inventory management and operations during the Summer 2027 term. This role offers hands-on experience with purchasing, receiving, data entry, and warehouse organization. You will work closely with our teams to ensure our inventory records remain accurate and our processes run efficiently.
What you'll do#
- Receive, count, label, and organize incoming inventory.
- Maintain accurate records in our inventory management system.
- Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and monitor for overstock or out-of-stock items.
- Verify products against purchase orders and packing documentation.
- Enter and update data while preparing inventory reports.
- Assist the purchasing and operations teams with ongoing projects.
- Help maintain an organized stockroom and identify ways to improve efficiency.
- Follow all company safety, security, and handling policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college, university, or technical program.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfort working with numbers and computer-based systems.
- A basic understanding of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to perform physical tasks like standing, walking, and lifting inventory.
- Previous experience in retail, warehouse, or purchasing is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or intermediate Excel skills are preferred.
