About the role#
The Geology Intern will support the rare earth exploration program at the Round Top deposit. This position offers hands-on experience in mineral exploration and development. You will work alongside experienced geologists and technical professionals on active projects.
What you'll do#
- Support the rare earth exploration program.
- Perform core logging.
- Collect and interpret geological data.
- Perform sample characterization.
- Support the evaluation and development of the Round Top deposit.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited geology or geoscience program.
- Basic understanding of geological mapping and logging principles.
- Eagerness to learn field-based exploration methods.
- Ability to commute to and work in a remote field environment.
- Interest in the mining industry.
