    About the role#

    As a Data Advisory Analyst Intern, you will gain exposure to portfolio governance, enterprise architecture, technology finance, and IT delivery consulting. You will support initiatives that shape technology strategy, improve delivery excellence, and design AI solutions that support business transformation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving and bringing clarity to ambiguous challenges.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate on developing problem statements and strategic approaches for AI solution implementation.
    • Interact with product owners, managers, and business users to understand requirements and business challenges.
    • Contribute to the development of short-term and long-term roadmaps.
    • Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered tools.
    • Create requirements documentation and collaborate with development teams to translate these into technical designs.
    • Gather and organize structured and unstructured data sets for analytic review.
    • Provide data analysis to inform leadership decisions.
    • Document change impacts and distribute communications to end users.
    • Participate in daily and weekly Agile team meetings and deployment planning sessions.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Business/Data Analytics.
    • Enrollment in school during the internship, typically between Junior and Senior years or 1st and 2nd years of graduate school.
    • Experience with business process optimization or gathering business requirements.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, Lucidchart, Visio, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Claude.
    • Exposure to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management artifacts like roadmaps, RAID, and RACI.
    • A basic understanding of data visualization and automation tools.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Rosemont, Illinois.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (June through August).
    • Modality: Hybrid (combination of onsite and remote).
    • Status: Full-time (40 hours per week).
    • Compensation: Paid internship.
    • Requirements: Must have a regular, reliable method of transportation. We are unable to provide sponsorship for employment visa status.
