About the role#
The APEX Fellow for Alumni Engagement provides recent graduates with practical, project-based experience in higher education. You will support the growth of the Alumni Referral, Alumni Legacy, and U-Connect programs by building systems and documenting workflows. This role offers exposure to relationship management, outreach strategy, and advancement operations.
What you'll do#
- Review existing practices to document steps, timelines, and staff responsibilities for key programs.
- Build and maintain program materials, templates, checklists, and communications.
- Identify, invite, onboard, and follow up with alumni participants.
- Coordinate activities and communications with campus partners and Advancement colleagues.
- Track participation records, referrals, and outreach activities to ensure accurate data.
- Support administrative and event-based initiatives to gain broader exposure to departmental operations.
What you'll need#
- Recent graduate status.
- Ability to design and document operational workflows.
- Interest in alumni relations, nonprofit development, or higher education administration.
- Majors such as Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Sociology, Political Science, History, or English are relevant to this work.

- Location: Collegeville, Pennsylvania.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term.
