About the role#
The APEX Fellow for Annual Giving and Student Engagement helps transform the existing student philanthropy program into a structured, cohort-based apprenticeship model. This role provides recent graduates with practical, project-based experience in higher education operations. You will gain exposure to fundraising principles, donor communications, and program management while building your supervisory skills.
What you'll do#
- Document and implement the program schedule, procedures, and day-to-day workflows.
- Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and mentor undergraduate student employees.
- Coordinate student schedules, team meetings, and work assignments.
- Create training materials focused on annual giving and student philanthropy.
- Track student participation and program results to identify areas for improvement.
- Support secondary initiatives within the Ursinus Fund and broader Advancement department.
What you'll need#
- Status as a recent graduate.
- An interest in higher education and institutional operations.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or Human Resources is preferred.
