About the role#
The APEX Fellow for Corporate Relations and Athletic Partnerships will lead the Fill the Fence Corporate Sponsorship Campaign. You will secure local and regional business partners to support the Bears Athletics Club. This role builds professional experience in business development and higher education advancement. You will work across departments to establish scalable sponsorship processes for future institutional initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Research and identify prospective corporate sponsors among local and regional businesses.
- Conduct outreach through virtual and in-person meetings.
- Create and update sponsorship materials, templates, and process checklists.
- Collaborate with Advancement and Athletics staff to fulfill sponsor benefits like signage and digital recognition.
- Track outreach, commitments, and benefit fulfillment in Raiser’s Edge NXT and VanillaSoft.
- Support sponsor renewal efforts through impact updates and year-end recaps.
- Assist with additional administrative and event-based tasks for Corporate Relations and Athletics fundraising.
What you'll need#
- Recent college graduation.
- Interest in higher education advancement.
- Ability to perform both virtual and in-person outreach.
- Experience with CRM tools or a willingness to learn them.
- Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Health, or Economics are relevant to this work.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid fellowship located in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.
- The position follows a rolling term.
