About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the practice of law within a public company. You will work alongside experienced attorneys to support a variety of legal matters. The role offers hands-on experience and insight into how an in-house team advises the business, manages risk, and supports company operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with dispute management and coordinate with outside counsel.
- Support board and committee processes and entity management.
- Provide legal support on new products, partnerships, and company projects.
- Support workplace policies and employee relations matters.
- Assist with compliance programs and regulatory and government relations matters.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Juris Doctor (J.D.) program, having completed your first or second year of law school.
- Strong academic performance, with a preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Demonstrated interest in corporate law, compliance, litigation, employment law, or consumer finance.
- Strong legal research, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership potential through academic, professional, or extracurricular activities.

- Location: Plano, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time role.
- Compensation: This is a paid position at $23.00 per hour.
- Eligibility: You must be authorized to work in the United States. This position does not offer employment-based immigration sponsorship.
