About the role#
We are looking for an Intern Analyst to join our Private Markets team for the Summer 2027 term. This four-month internship offers an opportunity to gain experience within a growing investment team at a pension plan. You will support projects related to private markets and contribute to our long-term investment goals.
What you'll do#
- Conduct secondary research and assist with due diligence.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide writing and editing support for presentations.
- Assist with asset management reporting and related deliverables.
- Collaborate with industry participants to promote a sustainable economy.
- Contribute to our reputation as a respectful partner in the financial sector.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- You have solid skills in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- You possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- You are interested in global business, investment, and private markets.
- You are a critical thinker and an independent problem solver.
- You can manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment.
- You are comfortable interacting with international stakeholders.
- You demonstrate resourcefulness, persistence, and adaptability.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario.
- Term: May 2027 to August 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
- Compensation: Annualized base salary range of $50,500 to $61,500.
- Employment type: Full-time.
